Can you have two godmothers

We keep them up because there are a ton of great conversations here and we believe you deserve to see them all. We don't even do godparents for our kids. Plus neither of us feels close enough to anyone to ask them to be godparents. I say if you want two godmothers then go ahead and do it. My only thought would be if you have another child would you then be left with no one to be the godmother? Or would you want one child to have two godmothers while the other only has one?

We had two couples as my daughters godparents. I'm thankful we did as we no longer speak with one of the couples who have since divorced.

My little girl will have two godfathers my cousin and husband brother and two godmothers my BFF and my brother wife. My sister and I are both my nieces godmothers. The first niece had her dad's brother and sister in law. But when Alexa was born neither my sister or I were married so my sister asked us both. I'm thinking of asking both my sisters to be all my children's godmothers.

Hubby's family isn't religious at all sister in law is outspoken atheist! My youngest sister and closest to me married a guy who is 7th Day Adventist.
